Art History Venice Study Tour
     Led by Professors Lisa Rafanelli and Gillian Greenhill Hannum, Manhattanville students, faculty and staff spent a week in Venice during the March 2008 spring vacation.  This year was the ninth Venice trip in as many years.  The department has also offered study tours to Florence (1998) and Ireland (1999).  A trip to Rome is planned for Spring 2009.
    Travel arrangements were made through Culture Quest, an educational tour company based in Philadelphia.  Participants stayed at the charming, family-run Hotel Al Codega (new sister to the Hotel Serenissima, where we have stayed for the past six years) centrally located between Piazza San Marco and the Rialto area.
