I have been a full time faculty member of the Education Department of Manhattanville College for the past three years. I received my doctorate from Hofstra University. I had been a Social Studies teacher, Social Studies Department Head, and Assistant Principal in the public school arena for over 30 years. My scholarly interests include secondary school methods of teaching, social studies methods, and the importance of the continued functioning of the middle school where teachers focus on content and students.
