Starting with an introduction to the study of acoustics, this course will focus on the art of live and studio sound recording. Students learn techniques for recording, mixing, and mastering digital audio.

 

Textbook: Modern Recording Techniques (MRT) by David Miles Huber.

 

Course Requirements:   Readings, class attendance & participation, two quizzes, Mid-term & Final, and three Projects.
