- Fall 2007 - Professor Geoffrey Kidde Texts: Music for Sight Singing, 7th Ed. by Robert Ottman: (MSS)(ISBN 0-13-187234-6) Beginning Tonal Dictation, 2nd Ed. by Thomas Durham (BTD) ISBN 1-57766-305-5) Bring textbooks, music paper, and pencils to every class meeting. Exercises in MSS are to be prepared for class meetings as below. Even numbered exercises in BTD are done in class. Students must complete odd numbered exercises on their own. Additional Material through Blackboard. Midterm and final will have both ear-training and musicianship parts. All Material on Blackboard is possible for musician parts. |
