Audio Recording Techniques II - Professor Geoffrey Kidde

Text: Modern Recording Techniques (MRT) 5th Ed. by David Miles Huber. Published by Focal Press (ISBN 0-240-804560-2). Students are encouraged to purchase portable digital data storage devices with Firewire connections.

During the semester, each student will record, edit, mix and master one track for the class CD; create a sound track for a short film; and record, mix, and edit a live concert. Course requirements: Midterm (20%), Final (20%), and three projects. The prerequisite for the course in Audio Recording Techniques I or permission of the instructor.
