Assignments in MSS to be performed in class on date shown below.  Exercises in BTD are done in class and on your own, so always bring both MSS and BTD to class. Always bring music paper and sharpened pencils with eraser. Have a great semester!!!!

Over the course of the semester we do a number of projects: The schedule of these projects we will posted on a later version of this syllabus. Past semesters are online if you would like to get a sense of the pace of the course. Essentially this is a course for students with a basic theory knowledge and some music performance experience. 

Solfege melodies are sung in class from Music for Sight Singing by Robert Ottman.
Dictation exercises are done in and outside of class.
Rhythm exercises are worked on in class.
