MUA 1005 -  MIDI and Audio Production - Spring 2007 - Professor Geoffrey Kidde

 

We will explore the theory and practice of MIDI and digital audio. We will focus on various software programs including MOTU’s  Digital Performer, Live Ableton, Max-MSP, and Band-in-a-Box. Additionally, we will look at MacCSound and Supercollider. The course includes mid-term, final and possibly quizzes; the mid-term is indicated below, and the final will be announced.  Four projects which utilize the programs mentioned above are due over the course of the semester; these  due dates are shown in bold below.
