MUA 1007 – Introduction to Music Technology                          SP 2003

Tuesday and Friday from 12:10 to 1:25 PM

In this course, students learn how technology can be used to arrange and compose music, and develop musicianship skills. Beginning with an overview of computer terminology and general use, the course will introduce four areas of computer-based music technology: MIDI sequencing; digital audio recording and editing; education software; and music engraving programs. Additional topics include the synthesizer and sound recording devices.
