What are our graduates up to?

Samantha Ross '04 is currently working at Memorial Sloan Kettering as counselor for cancer patients. She says she really enjoys the position because “I get to have intense interactions with those who are in need and this is wonderful because of my psychology background.”
Khalid Brown '03 is a graduate student at St. John's University in their school psychology doctoral program.
Laroushna Pierre '03  has been accepted into a graduate program of optometry at the State College of New York.
Vanessa Cuesta '03 has been accepted to a Masters of School Psychology program at Mercy College.
Suzanne Light' 03 has been accepted into the Masters of Psychology program at Yeshiva.
Sherianne E. Worrell '03, the 2003 recipient of Mville’s prestigious Dammann scholarship award, has been accepted to NYU for graduate school in speech language pathology.
Rebecca Merenda '02 is working towards a Psy.D. at the University of Hartford. 
Manuel Gomez-Ramirez '02 accepted a job at the Cognitive Neurophysiology department at the Nathan Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research working on visual-spatial memory. While attending Mville, Manuel received a fellowship through the Center for Neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh.
Rob Kawada '02 took his cello to the Walker Home School in Massachusetts to work as a child-behavior therapist.
Julie Berry '01, who formerly worked as a case manager for the Adolescent Pregnancy and Prevention Services Program, is currently pursuing a Masters degree at the Graduate Faculty of Political and Social Science at New School University.
Leeann Grant '01 is working as a research assistant at New York Presbyterian Hospital in White Plains. Currently she is involved with studies investigating daytime sleepiness and alertness in schizophrenic patients and how certain drugs used for Parkinson's disease might be able to ease the symptoms of restless leg syndrome.
Karen McLeod '01 is working towards a Masters in Physical Therapy at NY Medical College.
Alison Pierce '01 plans to attend Bard Graduate Center to pursue a degree in Decorative Arts with a concentration in Museum Studies.
Marisa Lo Bianco '00  is currently an Administrative Director at NOW.
David Goldsmith '00 is working towards his Psy.D. at Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
Betsy Serrano '00  is working as a Mental Health counselor at a halfway house in the psychiatric rehabilitation program.
Allyson Sipes '00  has been accepted (with a fellowship) to George Washington University's Clinical PsyD. program.
Tamara Mieles '99 graduated in 2002 with and EdM in Educational Psychology/Cognitive Studies from Teacher's College Columbia. She currently works for a reform support organization called the Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University as a Research Associate.
Donya Williams '99 is currently working for Catalyst, a non-profit research and advisory services organization working to advance women in business, as an assistant in the research department.
Kathleen O'Keefe '98 recently graduated with an MA in psychology from the New School. She is currently pursuing a School-Community Psy.D. degree at Hofstra University.
Kelly Archer '96  received an M.A. in Organizational Studies from Columbia University.
Mary Murphy '96 is working at Montefiore as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Addiction Medicine Research in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
 In addition, we are fortunate to have Mary teaching some of our courses here at Mville.
Claudia Rahman-Dujarric '96 works for Dr. Marc Galanter, a prominent substance abuse researcher at the NYU Division of Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and the creator of Network Therapy- an office-based treatment for substance abuse that engages the patient, family and/or friends in group therapy sessions.
Jennifer Newcomb-Fernandez '94 recently defended her Ph.D. on Proteolytic Mechanisms of Cell Injury Following Oxygen-Glucose Deprivation in Primary Neuronal Cultures. She currently works at US Oncology as a protocol writer for oncology clinical trials.
Jeanne Rogan '94 (formerly Metta) went on to get two masters degrees in school psychology and secondary counseling from Bucknell University.  She is currently working as a counselor/school psychologist in central Pennsylvania.
Erica Schachner '94 completed her degree in chiropractic medicine. Currently she runs her own family wellness/preventative practice for infants, children, and adults with problems such as asthma and "chronic fatigue syndrome".
Laura Spincola '93 is an Assistant Professor at Norwich university. 
Matthew Berger '92 is currently a licensed school psychologist for Rockland County BOCES. He received his Psy.D. from Pace University in 2000.
Erik Moody '92 is doing a post-doc at UVM investigating Operant/Pavlovian conditioning.
Marisol Hernandez '91 received her Masters in Organizational Management from Manhattanville in May 02. Currently she is working for a healthcare insurance provider, as a Quality Control Specialist.
