1Students interested in conducting their own research, assisting a full-time Professor with their research, or students interested in writing a review article- should consult with a full-time Professor to see if they have availability and/or interest to teach PSY 4025: Research Experience. Depending on the project and the Prof's interests, students may conduct a literature review, develop testable hypotheses, design the proper methodology, collect and statistically analyze data, and write a thesis according to the stylistic guidelines of the American Psychological Association. Prerequisites include: PSY 1004: Fundamentals of Psychology, PSY 2012: Statistics for the Social Sciences, PSY 3001: Research Methods in Psychology.

2Students who have secured an internship and would like to receive credit within the Psychology Department should consult with a full-time Professor to get permission to take PSY 4030: Field Work Experience. The course demands at least eighty [80] hours of approved service at the field site. Prerequisites include: PSY 1004: Fundamentals of Psychology and four psychology elective courses.
