Research Interests

  • Stereotypes and Prejudice: implicit attitudes, intergroup processes, stigma and helping behavior, stereotype activation and ethnic slurs

  • Unconscious Processes: priming, implicit learning, thin-slicing, subliminal persuasion

  • Aggression: inflated self-esteem (narcissism), videogame violence, indirect aggression, group measures of aggression

  • Teaching of Psychology: writing materials for psychology instructors, developing positive student attitudes towards conducting research
